Urban Core is a lead contractor who specialise in end-to-end build project management for fit-outs and refurbishments.

The requirement was for full rebrand to attract a higher level customer and better compete in the saturated Sydney construction market.

Cultivation

The previous name “Urban fit outs and construction” was awkward and the pink colour scheme was far to cliche to represent a female company that was breaking boundaries in a male dominant industry

After strategic internal and external interviews, we developed the name Urban Core to resonate with the core of the city, the core role of the head contractor but also to reflect a sense of solidity and reassuring expertise

The icon is derived from dissecting a circle, rearranging it to represent the variety of expertise which creates a repeating U and C type form.

Growth

After launch, Urban Core has seen an increase in successful tenders and recently won a prestigious award for their Melbourne Victor Churchill build.
